MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Han Duong is a south San Jose native and is excited to be back to serve her community after many years of practicing in Gilroy and Salinas, CA. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineer and a minor in Mathematics. She later found interest in optometry and received her training at the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Han Duong is licensed to practice optometry in both California and Hawaii. She is well trained and qualifies to diagnose, treat, and manage/co-manage most ocular conditions, including glaucoma. She is committed to provide the highest level of eye care to her patients and to offer them the best possible solution for their visual needs. Her ultimate goal as an optometrist is to preserve the most precious gift: sight. She strongly believes that healthcare should be an inherent right, which is why she is committed to giving back to the community. In the past, she has participated in many vision screenings including RAM (remote area medical) projects and VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) trips to provide charge-free services to patients in need.
In additional to conducting her eye exams in English, Dr. Duong is fluent in clinical Spanish and Vietnamese.
